Armed robbery, Ashmore

Police are searching for a man who robbed a tavern at Ashmore earlier this morning.
Around 10.30am a man walked through the main entrance of the premises at the corner of Cotlew Street and Currumburra Road and approached the gaming room counter.
The man claimed he was armed with a weapon and made demands for money.
An undisclosed amount of money was handed over from the till.
The man left the scene and was last seen heading towards Currumburra Road.
A weapon was not sighted during the robbery.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
